The 2013 Show is going to be a huge Success!!

The 2013 Southern Maryland Dog Shows will again be held at Richmond Raceway Complex
at 600 E. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222 
on Friday and Saturday, June 28th and 29th, 2013. 

Annual Southern Maryland Kennel Club Dog Show


The Kennel Club holds a two day show every year the last weekend in June/first weekend in July.  The show is part of a larger 5 day cluster of shows refered to as the Blue Crab Cluster. 

The Cluster starts off with the Potomac Hound Show on Thursday, followed by the 2 day Southern Maryland Kennel Club Show on Friday and Saturday, closing on Sunday and Monday with a 2 day all breed show by Rock Creek Kennel Club.

Along with over 1700 dogs of all breeds, there are other activities that vary from year to year.  In the past we have had visits from one of the last remaining therapy dogs used at 9/11, Local Art show put on by the Club for members of Melwood, and Meet the Breed Activities.

Our shows have been highlighted in our regional press in previous years.
